Our Girl Scout programs have engaging instructors and hands-on activities!  Program fee includes all materials for activities, parking, and admission to MOSI after the program.  Select programs include the MOSI 2018 or 2019 Fun Patch.

From concept to premiere, travel the path of a filmmaker as you bring your ideas to life with actors, props, and locations.  Teams will create, shoot, edit, and show their own film on location at MOSI!

Saturday, November 16th 7pm to Sunday, November 17th 9am

Are robots in your future?  Explore the robotics of today by building, programming, and playing with robots. Design your dream robot to help with chores, be a friend, or even explore other planets!  This is an overnight Camp-In that includes a hands-on Science Lab, a hands-on Design Lab, a Junior Science Cafe, MOSI exhibit exploration, light snack, sleeping at MOSI, light breakfast, and general admission to MOSI after the program. Please be prompt to ensure a smooth check-in and participation in all the fun activities!

Become an expert in exploration!  Choose your mission, design spacecraft, and follow in the footsteps of astronauts, engineers, and scientists.This is an overnight Camp-In that includes a show in the Saunders Planetarium, a hands-on Design Lab, a Junior Science Cafe, MOSI exhibit exploration, light snack, sleeping at MOSI, light breakfast, and general admission to MOSI after the program. Did you know scientists use their eyes, ears, nose, skin, and even their tongues to make observations in science?  Use your five senses to be a super scientist in this sense-sational workshop!

Make your robot move, talk, and even dance in this fun workshop!  Learn the basics of coding while working with your team to choreograph some funky robot dance moves.

Will your robot do chores, assist patients, or clean the environment?  Whatever challenge you choose to solve -- learn the basics of coding and design a robot that helps!

Design a robot that drives on a road!  Explore sensors, traffic rules, and pedestrian safety as you program your robot to navigate a city street.

Use investigative skills to determine what is fact and what is fiction through hands-on activities and your keen power of observation.

CADETTES - Operation: Investigate! Workshop

Solve the crime! Use fingerprint analysis, eyewitness reports, and other scientific techniques just like Crime Scene Investigators.

Saturday, April 4th 7pm to Sunday, April 5th 9am

Trees play a major role in the lives of people, animals, and even other plants!  Explore dendrology -- the science of trees -- and learn the many secrets that trees can share about the world around us.
