Rather than putting on weight from eating celery, you actually lose it. You burn more calories from the chewing than you put on from the food itself.

MOSI and Verizon FiOS have joined forces to host Press Play, a video gaming expo, on Nov. 1 and 8, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Press Play will take place at MOSI and is powered by Verizon FiOS Quantum Internet, America’s fastest, most reliable internet.

Multiple games including Minecraft, Just Dance 2015® and FIFA 2015® will be in action with a Madden 15® Tournament as the centerpiece for Press Play.

Gamers who pre-register for the Nov. 1 Madden Qualification Rounds will receive free admission to Press Play. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders will be on site for photos and autographs. Finalists from the Nov. 1 qualifier will compete for prizes and bragging rights on Nov. 8. Tournament finalists will receive free admission to the Nov. 8 event and the winner of the Madden 15® Tournament will play against a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.

MOSI guests can take a step back in time in the Retro Lounge, equipped with the latest gaming technology of yesterday. In this area, gamers can defeat alien intruders in Space Invaders, rescue Princess Peach in Super Mario and blast their way through Doctor Eggman’s evil plans in Sonic the Hedgehog. MOSI’s Retro Lounge will feature first generation Sega Genesis, Atari and more Nintendo systems.

Gamers will also be able to demonstrate their skills as they compete against local gamers and experts from the Tampa Bay area. Attendees will be able to play, win prizes and hang with fellow gamers.
