MOSI is celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime event as Venus travels in front of the Sun. This rare event will be seen at sunset and will not be seen again until the year 2117. MOSI is memorializing the event with a tribute to Venus. Guests will be able to stargaze through telescopes, sun spotters and solar shades from on top of the IMAX® DOME Theatre. Guests can also see Venus in all her glory in the perfectly dark sky within the Saunders Planetarium, as MOSI experts discuss the beauty and chaotic environment of the hottest planet in the solar system.
