Accessibility and Accommodation

Welcome to MOSI, where we are intent on creating an inclusive guest experience where everyone can participate in the excitement of science. Many of our exhibits offer multi-sensory interactive experiences. If you are concerned about too much sensory stimulation, ask a MOSI staff or volunteer about what you might expect while exploring the exhibits.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Museum is wheelchair accessible. Automatic doors are at the east entrance from the entry plaza, at the west entrance to MOSI’s main lobby which leads to a ramp, and at the east and south entrances of the KashdinWelcomeCenter. There are 14 handicapped parking spaces near the entry plaza entrance to MOSI. The property surrounding the museum is paved.

Wheelchairs are available at no additional cost on a first-come, first-served basis at the MOSI Ticket office. Guest must leave a driver’s license or credit card at the ticket office until the wheelchair is returned.  The Museum’s IMAX DOME Theatre utilizes a "Rear Window" closed captioning system for its standard length films, which utilizes a clear reflector that enables the guest to see captions displayed on an LED board attached to the rear wall of the theater. We also have personal headsets available that amplify the narration channel of the films. A
