Under the influence of the suit, Peter becomes prideful and overconfident and he begins to neglect the ones he cares about the most. As two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution, Peter’s greatest battle is the one within himself. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller’s (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of the ancient historic tale.

Thanks to the magic of the IMAX screen, Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia provides audiences with a true experience into the incredible size and strength of theses creatures that once roamed the Earth. The movie concentrates on the remarkable discoveries made in Patagonia, in the south of Argentina, by world-renowned paleontologist Rodolfo Coria. As director of a dinosaur museum, Coria discovered some of the largest dinosaurs ever found: Argentinosaurus, and Giganotosaurus--a 15-meter long meat-eating predator!

More Than Meets the Eye (45 minutes)
Meeting Location: 2nd Floor West Wing
Binoculars and telescopes allow stargazers to view much fainter objects in much greater detail that is possible with just an unaided eye. "More than Meets the Eye" compares naked-eye views of celestial objects with the views from binoculars, small/medium telescopes, large observatories, and, in some cases, space probes. At the end of each show, learn about what interesting events will appear in the nighttime sky in the near future -- constellation positions, planet locations, eclipse dates, and satellite/space station passes. As always, MOSI astronomers will always take time to answer any and all of your astronomy/space questions.
SkyWatch!
See the universe up-close and personal through MOSI's telescopes. See craters on the moon. Watch as another planet's moons slowly perform a gravitational dance. See stellar nurseries where stars are being formed. See star clusters so far away that light-traveling at 186,000 miles per second-takes tens of thousands of years to make it to your eye. SkyWatch is free and open to the public.
