Complimentary Ticket Donations

MOSI’s Complimentary Ticket Request Guidelines

Thank you for thinking of the Museum of Science & Industry in planning your fundraising event. Below are the guidelines for requesting a donation of complimentary tickets.

Please note that all requirements must be met in order to qualify. Requests must come from licensed nonprofit organizations. These requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and donations are not guaranteed.

Due to the tremendous volume of inquiries received, limited resources make it impossible to satisfy all who ask for and merit assistance. We are unable to return phone calls or emails requesting a status update for your donation request, and you must give us 30 days' notice of your event. Your request will be automatically denied if 30 days' notice is not received.

Museum staff members are unable to return phone calls or expedite requests concerning ticket donations.

As we are able, we do donate tickets to:

  • Church groups
  • Public and private schools
  • Community organizations
  • National non-profit organizations

We are unable to donate to:

  • For-profit organizations
  • Events benefiting a single person or family
  • Non-fundraising events
  • Out-of-state inquiries

How to request tickets

Tickets are limited to two general admission tickets per organization. Due to the tremendous volume of requests, MOSI can only donate to each organization once per calendar year.

If you wish to submit your request by mail, please mail the necessary information, along with a self-addressed envelope to:
