Partnering to Educate

MOSI is proud to partner with the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) whose mission is to manage water and related natural resources for current and future residents in West-Central Florida.

SWFWMD understands the need for education and public awareness of the issues surrounding water conservation and environmental stewardship and therefore provided the support for MOSI to develop and implement Waterworld, an environmental program that featured educator workshops, an environmentally-themed free day for families of participating schools, hands-on environmental science labs, expeditions for approximately 1000 students and the Wetland Wonders Website designed to establish an online community and connection to relevant environmental issues and resources.
