Idea Zone® is a creative invention space where children and families design, make, and experiment with a variety of tools, materials, and processes used by engineers, scientists, artists, coders and makers. Idea Zone® consists of two main areas: the makerspace and the fabrication lab. In our makerspace area, a team of instructors and makers facilitate activities that focus on the process of turning ideas into reality through drop-in workshops, building challenges and prototype exhibits. Our fabrication lab allows students to learn to develop projects through digital fabrication in classes, camps and technology workshops. The dynamic nature of Idea Zone® allows guests to participate in a wide variety of experiences everyday.
