Discovering Dinosaurs
May 30–June 2, 9 a.m.–Noon • No class on Monday, May 29
Scientists are discovering new facts about these incredible creatures every day! Learn what’s new, help build a volcano, and watch it erupt and make your own fossil as you explore the world of dinosaurs.

Physics Fun
May 30–June 2, 1–4 p.m. • No class on Monday, May 29
Make things soar, build a car to race, and experiment with different ways to make things move! From magnets and gravity to air pressure, this camp will have you moving!

Kitchen Concoctions!
June 5–9, 9 a.m.–Noon
Cooking and chemistry are closely related, as you’ll learn in this camp full of measuring and mixing! Make some chemical reactions and tasty treats as you stir up a big batch of fun!

Creepy Crawlies
June 5–9, 1–4 p.m.
Come on an adventure to MOSI’s Back Woods as we search for insects! Discover their secrets for hiding and learn amazing facts about the millions of insects that share the earth with us!

Planet Quest
June 12–16, 9 a.m.–Noon
Soar to the stars in this camp especially for future astronauts! Learn about the planets, design your own rocket, and visit The Saunders Planetarium for a special show as the constellations align in this camp!

Rainbow Riot
June 12–16, 1–4 p.m.
Explore the science of light and shadows and learn how rainbows are formed! Play with prisms and mix your own colors in this fun week of turning primary colors into new hues!

Construction Junction
June 19–23, 9 a.m.–Noon
Explore the discoveries that make engineering possible in this camp for future designers! Find out about bridge building, levers, pulleys, and gears in this block building bonanza!

Icky & Sticky!
June 19–23, 1–4 p.m.
In this slimy class — where mixing, stirring, pouring, and measuring create some gross mixtures — you get to get messy! Make cool, gooey stuff in this camp as you experiment with goo, globs, oozes, and blobs.

Super Me!
June 26–30, 9 a.m.–Noon
Save the day by becoming a superhero! Choose your superpower, create your own comic, make a costume, and do good deeds in this super-duper session!

Penguin Pals
June 26–30, 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
Experiment with ice and learn about creatures that live in the coldest areas of the earth as you build an igloo with your friends and make your own penguin pal!

Wonderful Water!
July 3–7, 9 a.m.–Noon • No class on Tuesday, July 4
Water covers about seventy percent of the earth, but where does it come from? What’s the difference between salt and fresh water? Why do some things float? Learn about the water cycle and experiment with water in this wet and wild camp!

Let’s be Scientists!
July 3–7, 1 p.m.–4 p.m • No class on Tuesday, July 4
Learn what it’s like to be a scientist as you examine rocks like a paleontologist, experiment with chemicals like a chemist, and examine evidence like a criminal investigator! Find out what it would be like to choose a career in science as you discover a new field of study each day.

Frolicking Frogs!
July 10–14, 9 a.m.–Noon
There are more than 4,000 frog species in the world! Have a hopping good time learning about the life cycle and habitats of these fun creatures!

Ingenious Engineers
July 10–14, 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
Did you ever wonder how the Pyramids were built? Or how pendulums swing and gears turn? This class will help you discover how things work and how they were invented!

Slimy Stuff
July 17–21, 9 a.m.–Noon
What makes stuff sticky and slimy? Why is your runny nose sticky, slimy, or both? Which animals produce sticky, slimy stuff and why? Create your own slime and discover the world of slimy fun!

Make it Up!
July 17–21, 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
Go green in this camp that explores ways you can help the environment! Make games and toys from recycled materials and explore the art of “upcycling.”

Grouchy Ladybugs and Hungry Caterpillars
July 24–28, 9 a.m.–Noon
Celebrate the works of Eric Carle the hands-on way! Learn about polar bears, chameleons, and seahorses through storytelling and science-based activities and crafts.

Ice Antics
July 24–28, 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
Cool off with some frozen fun as we experiment with freezing and thawing, learn about glaciers, paint with popsicles, and make our own ice cream!

Sound Sensations
July 31–August 4, 9 a.m.–Noon
Make some noise in this camp where you can try different musical instruments, learn about the sounds animals make, play with sound effects, and make some instruments of your own as you feel the beat!

Exciting Everglades
July 31–August 4, 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
The Florida Everglades are a unique part of our country. Learn about the plants and animals that live there, the pioneers who first explored the region, and how they survived!

MOSI Mash-Up
August 7–9, 9 a.m.–Noon (3-day camp)
Enjoy the best of summer with this ‘mash-up’ of camps! Make delicious treats and create cool experiments. Nothing can beat the last week of summer like the fun of this camp!

MOSI Make and Take
August 7–9, 1 p.m.–4 p.m. (3-day camp)
Learn about the art of “upcycling” in this class that uses recycled materials to make games and toys to take home.
