After School Programs 2009 - 2010

Spend the afterschool hours in an exciting hands-on program at MOSI. Explore science, show off your creative side, play games, and make new friends all in the safe and stimulating environment of the MOSI After School Program.

Daily Program Features:

• Students escorted by MOSI staff from Pizzo Elementary,
   USF/Patel Charter School and MOSI Partnership School
• Homework assistance and library activities
• Organized recreational games and outdoor play and sports
• Interactive science, technology, and art activities

Program Information:
• Hours: 2 - 6 p.m., extended hours on early release days
• Location: MOSI (Pick up child at MOSI)
• Ages: Kindergarten through Grade 5 (ages 5 -12 years)
• Program fee: $65 per week, unless otherwise noted
• Preregistration with payment is required at least two weeks prior to program date
• School Holidays: Optional, full-day programs are available on most school holidays,
  for a $10 daily fee.
*Additional fees apply for winter and spring break programs

Payment and Registration Information:
Fees - A nonrefundable registration fee of $65 per child is required at the time of registration. The $65 weekly fee is due two weeks in advance of the week of care. Please consult the payment schedule on the reverse side.

Payment - Payments can be made by check, cash, or credit card at the MOSI Box Office. All major credit cards are accepted. The MOSI Box Office is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. There is a $2.50 convenience fee for phone reservations.

Late payments may result in dismissal from the program. A late pick-up fee of $5 is assessed per child for every 15 minutes (or any part thereof) if a child is not picked up by 6 p.m. A fee of $25 is assessed for each returned check. A 5% discount will be given if payments are made in advance on a monthly basis by the due date.

Automatic monthly or weekly deduction is available to credit card users who pay on a monthly or weekly basis.

The MOSI After School program participates in the School Readiness Program, Federal Employee Education Assistance Fund, and Vocational Rehabilitation Program.
