RESERVATIONS SUPERVISOR
Development Department
Full-time Position with Benefits
Week-Ends & Occasional Holiday Availability Required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists Membership & Reservations Manager with hiring, training, supervision and coaching of reservation department staff.
• Trains new and existing staff on MOSI reservation ticketing system program and procedures.
• Responds to guest questions / concerns; independently resolve guest problems; make exceptions to standard operating procedures when required.
• Makes reservations for individuals, school groups, adult and senior groups.
• Registers guests for summer camps, homeschool programs, and special events.
• Assists with membership inquiries and renews memberships over the phone; troubleshoots problems with memberships.
• Executes the monthly renewal process for memberships, including creation of lists, mailings,
e-mail blasts and phone campaigns.
• Balances reservation office daily deposit; resolve overage /shortage with Business & Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or GED required, 2-year degree preferred
• Previous Supervisory experience required
• Excellent telephone and oral communications skills with customer service attitude
• Attention to detail
• Computer literacy
• Able to follow complex directions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to sit for 4-6 hour shifts
• Excellent vision for computer and detail work
• Computer keyboard typing 4-6 hours a day

RESERVATIONIST
Development Department
Part-Time, Temporary Position
Week-Ends & Occasional Holiday Availability Required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive telephone calls for group and individual reservations and enter into ticketing system
• Respond to telephone and walk-in inquiries regarding MOSI programs, general information and the facility
• Receive telephone calls to purchase MOSI memberships and enter membership information into ticketing system
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent telephone and oral communications skills with customer service attitude
• Attention to detail
• Computer literacy
• Able to follow complex directions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to sit for 4-6 hour shifts

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
Human Resources Department
Part-Time – 30 hours per week
Temporary Position - 6 months
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Recruits for open positions by processing Position Approval Forms and Personnel Action Request forms.
• Prepares and places ads and job postings for open positions.
• Screens applications and routes to hiring managers for review.
• Conducts new employee sign-ups and assists with new hire orientation.
• Updates and maintains orientation packets, schedules appointments to meet with new employees, oversees the completion of all paperwork for new employee file.
• Maintains personnel files, both computerized and manual, ensuring that records are updated.
• Prepares periodic and special reports including new employee hiring reports and monthly employee statistics.
• Updates and maintains applicant and employee database on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree preferred; 2-3 years Human Resources experience required.
• Certificate in Human Resources Management preferred.
• Well developed oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATE

Friday, Saturday & Sunday Availability Required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet Guests and provide general information on MOSI ticketing options and benefits of membership; sell MOSI memberships
• Member relations and support of member promotions and events
• Data entry and cash handling
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Prior sales and customer service experience required
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Basic computer knowledge
• Weekend and evening availability
